Curve d'Italia

Wednesday, 23 February 2011

I took half day off at work to attend the Elena Mirò fashion show. Milan fashion week just started and it's fashion, happiness and style everywhere.

All guests have been welcomed by a sumptuous buffet (thanks god these models do eat!).

The show has been a whirlwind of voluptuous curves, soft textiles, real women and gorgeous dresses.

The Mirò woman is definitely a real woman. Let me tell you that in my wish list I have almost all the collection....(oh Saint credit card....)

Let the show begin from Longuette's eye!

Isn't her haircut amazing? Could not help but take her a picture. What a great style!

Too much to look at!

Monday, 21 February 2011

Blogs and magazines are packed of pictures from the latest fashion shows around the globe.
Even though collections are related to Autumn/Winter 2011-12, I'm looking for inspirations for my Spring and Summer looks.

I have a big company event to attend in May in Barcellona (Spain), one of my best-friend wedding in June and much more.

For those who have been follow me, it is not new that I have a penchant for dresses and skirts. Favourite color of the season (except for pink that is always on top of my preferences, in every shade): WHITE!

What is you coveted piece for next season? and the colour?

I am in!

I am going to attend the Elena Mirò fashion show on Wed!!

You can view the show on streaming at the following address Curve d'Italia (10.00AM GMT +1): you may spot me!

I am so excited!!!

For those who does not know the brand, Elena Mirò is the first worldwide know Italian brand of plus size fashion. Their pieces are incredibly modern, feminine, sophisticated and stylish. The latest two collections are amazing and proves that curves can be so sexy!

Ok,let's the Milan fashion week started!!

Clooney is moving...

Thursday, 17 February 2011

From Lake of Como, Clooney will be soon moving to Lake Maggiore (just 50km distance), here on the background.

Why? Well, I am pretty much here all weekends and he would be more at a reasonable distance from myself. But he is not going to be any lucky! I am already taken!

Tough, the lake in winter is amazing. The water looks so crisp and net and the sky turns blu, orange and pink over sunset.
The mountains are still covered in white fluff and houses are still in a sleeping feel.
In just a couple of months, all the surrounding will be blooming and a colour explosion will explode everywhere!!

Talking fashion, during winter I love to wear brown in every shade, camel included.
As I have brown hair and olive skin, I do not love to wear black (I know I am swearing!!), it gives me a 'Mortisia Addams from the Addams family look, but less prettier).

What I am wearing: Camel coat: Promod - Wool collar scarf: Camaieu - Crocodile suede longuette: OVS - Shoes: Tamaris (they have soft sheepwool inside, so warm! bought in Germany) - Bag: Conbipel

Yes, because I am a woman

Do I need another bag?
Don’t I own too many pair of shoes?
Isn’t my drawer full enough of jewellery?
Do I need more accessories?

Yes, because I am a woman
